Last week Senate sponsored a Sophomore Class Block Party in the Slonim Woods Common Lawn. It was a huge success! Unfortunately, I was unable to get marshmallows for the s’mores so I’m working on having another event before the end of the semester with s’mores for the sophomore class.
Senate is so pleased to welcome our newest members: Lenna Stahl (sophomore), SSSF Committee Senator, and Hayley Mohan (sophomore), Curriculum Committee Senator. It is really wonderful to have more sophomores on the student senate. A diversity of opinions and perspectives are crucial to the success of student senate. Other sophomores on student senate are Bobby Phillips (Student Life Committee Senator) and Hayleigh Thompson (Senate Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee).
