Last week’s meeting (01/20/2009) was closed to student representatives.
This week we discussed issues with Spring registration and potential ideas for how to restructure it. We reviewed the number of bumps, per class year and per course. We discussed under-registered classes and how to reduce such occurrences, and how to alleviate classes and departments that are consistently over-registered.
We also discussed budget of teaching days for next year and how they will be distributed between regular faculty and guest faculty. Additionally, we talked about component courses of music, dance and theater thirds and about lecture courses.
