Welcome Back, Sadie Lou!

Goooood Morning, Sarah Lawrence!

Welcome to the exciting rebirth of the only solely Internet based publication for the college: SadieLou.net. As you may have noticed, we’ve been dormant for, oh, about 10 months. So, that means we’re going to be working on the double-time to get this site up and running with the most exciting and diverse range of articles, film, art, and fiction – all of it written by YOU!
SadieLou.net is a periodical for the students and by the students, which means we can’t pull this off without your help. We want your work: your stories, your pictures, your paintings, and your opinions but, mostly, we want your guidance (and possibly your Bad Romance…). It is our mission to make this site everything the students of Sarah Lawrence College want and need it to be. This is ultimately a place to showcase the talent and creativity of our populace, but it is also a resource for those who care to visit. We’ve got a couple of weekly installments lined up for the rest of the semester, including:

• Weekly recipes from our lovely Co-Chair/Vegan Chef Extraordinaire, Mel Stanger
• Reviews of the latest novels and poetry anthologies by our equally lovely Chair, Nick Moore
• And, since let’s face it, most of us found out about this school thanks the a film adaptation of “The Taming of the Shrew” starting Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles, we’re going to have a weekly “10 Things” installment, highlighting exciting new developments in any and every discipline.

In the meantime, enjoy the fantastic stuff we already have available from a wide range of SLC students, past and present. And stay tuned for news about our upcoming events with Downstage and other super secret (cough-hint-wink) happenings!

xoxo
